Invisalign
As the most advanced clear aligner system available today, Invisalign gives you an improved smile without having to deal with the inconvenience of metal braces. They’re also very discrete, which can be an attractive aspect for adults looking to integrate orthodontic treatment more seamlessly into their routines.
Invisalign works by having our specialists scan your teeth to 3D print a custom set of flexible plastic aligners. As your teeth shift into place, new aligners will be made for you throughout treatment. When treatment is complete, you’ll receive a final retainer to keep your teeth straight, which is usually just worn overnight.
Suresmile Aligners
Similar to Invisalign, Suresmile aligners are used to straighten teeth over an extended period of time, only taking them out to eat, drink, and brush/floss your teeth.
Depending on the level of malocclusion, treatment can be as short as 3 months or as long as 3+ years. With any sort of aligners, they need to be worn every day for a certain number of hours to be effective and stay on track with the predicted treatment length. Metal Braces
A tried and true option through every dental and orthodontic advancement, traditional metal braces remain the most popular type of orthodontic treatment.
Metal brackets can oftentimes be the ideal option when it comes to more complex cases and accuracy, and have been around much longer than methods like clear aligners. Our brackets are self-ligating, allowing for more comfortable adjustments in our office as well as a smoother, low-profile design.
Clear Ceramic Braces
Just like metal braces, ceramic braces are made up of wires and brackets to gently move your teeth into place. The big difference is that the actual brackets are clear, matching the colour of your teeth so they’re less noticeable.
This can be a more aesthetically pleasing option for adults who want the reliability of traditional metal brackets, but the subtle look of ceramics. After the braces come off, either ceramic or metal, a retainer will be moulded and printed for you to wear every night to maintain your new straight teeth.
